Welcome to the North Canterbury Academy of Music, providers of an affordable, innovative out-of-schools music programme since 1983.
Based in Rangiora, North Canterbury, we are a non-profit community organisation with a roll of around 120 students, serving areas as far-flung as Oxford, Waipara, Amberley and Kaiapoi.
The Academy’s primary aim is to make high quality music education accessible to school-age students, providing them with a full range of learning and performance opportunities. We also provide tuition to adults.
Our Executive Committee is elected each year at our AGM from the parents of children learning at the Academy. They have all volunteered their time to make this Academy a better place for our students. However we are always looking for new members to help us out. If you could help in any way or would just like to know more information, please click on the CONTACT US button below to send an email to our secretary.
